About this location

Held every February at the fairgrounds in Estate Whim, Agrifest is the biggest event on St. Croix's calendar. The fair celebrates the island's agricultural heritage with livestock competitions, local produce displays, traditional food vendors, carnival rides, live music, and cultural performances. For photographers, Agrifest is a goldmine: the crowds are entirely local, the food is authentic Crucian cooking, and the energy is unlike anything else on the island. Aerial photography of the fairgrounds captures the full scale of the event — thousands of people spread across the grounds, with the island's interior hills and the Caribbean sky as a backdrop. Ground-level photography captures the faces, food, and festivity of St. Croix at its most communal.
