VI National Guard
The Virgin Islands National Guard (VING) is a component of the United States Armed Forces, with both Army and Air National Guard units. VING has a dual federal and territorial mission, responding to the needs of the U.S. Virgin Islands while also supporting national military operations. The Virgin Islands National Guard was established and federally recognized on October 19, 1973.
VI National Guard
Joint Force Headquarters: Serves as the senior command and control element for Army units in the territory. 104th Special Troop Battalion: A command and control unit for subordinate units, including the 661st Military Police Company.
